HERE'S WHAT WE TEACH
Liturgical / Prophetic Dance | Hip Hop | Modern / Contemporary
At House of Pearls Arts Academy, students are trained in a blend of expressive and foundational dance styles designed to build both technical skill and personal confidence. Our classes include Liturgical and Prophetic dance for worship and spiritual expression, Hip Hop for rhythm, energy, and individuality, and Modern / Contemporary for emotional storytelling and creative movement. Each style helps students grow in discipline, artistry, and self-expression.

WHO ARE WE FOR?
The Dance Ministry For Young Souls Seeking Belonging
Students who want to grow their dance abilities in a Christ-centered environment that values both artistic excellence and spiritual formation. This program is ideal for young dancers who desire structured training while also being encouraged in their faith, confidence, and character. Through guided instruction, mentorship, and opportunities to express worship through movement, students develop not only stronger dance technique, but a deeper sense of purpose, discipline, and identity.

The Founder | Mentor & Coach
Meet MaLisa Tillman
Malisa L. Tillman is the founder of House of Pearls Arts Academy and has spent nearly two decades teaching, choreographing, and mentoring students through dance. With over 18 years of experience as a dance instructor and studio owner, she has trained young dancers in modern, hip-hop, and expressive movement while helping them build confidence, discipline, and stage presence.
For Malisa, dance is more than technique — it is a powerful form of expression. She believes movement allows students to communicate emotions, tell stories, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Through her instruction, students are guided not only in choreography and performance, but also in creativity, identity, and confidence both on and off the dance floor.
